Dylan.N
Went to Living Reef because I was bored and walked out with a $20 Diamond Goby! Starting sifting through the sand right away. Link to comment
Dylan.N
And he's made a nest! That was pretty cool to watch. He dug under the rock and made a cave. Link to comment
Reefkid88
Ole muscle head !!! So ridiculous how big their heads are and little the bodies are lol. Such a cool fish to watch though,I love them. Good pick up btw. Link to comment
Dylan.N
Got home from the grocery store and I see he's dug 2 more holes lol. There goes my crystal clear water. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Nice to have something to look at eh? Cool fish choice, I like those, plus keeps your digs clean. Link to comment
Viking
I just started going to Top Shelf a few weeks ago. They are much better than the other place I've been. Looking forward to their expansion! Link to comment
Dylan.N
I saw they posted a pic on Facebook of new tile going down in the back room. What are their plans? Link to comment
Dylan.N
Fed the acans. They were hungry. Still no sign of the goby. Hopefully he's just shy. Link to comment
timothymarsh
As your mentor in this hobby, I have to say that your tank actually looks better than mine does lol. Then again you get the benefit of not having to go through my mistakes. ACANS!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment
Viking
They room they are tiling is for Freshwater I believe, That was where they were culturing their frags. There are taking over the storefront to their left as well. I think I've seen them moving their Grow tanks to that side. Link to comment
Dylan.N
Ah nice. Living Reef also looks to be expanding. It's a good time to live in Orlando I guess. Link to comment
TLowrider
Woke up and the water was about 95% clear. Got home from class and did some cleaning. Got all of the dust off the glass and spent some time working on the rockscape. I really like how it turned out, granted it's not as impressive as some of the other scapes I've seen on here I'll post pics either tonight or tomorrow. Whenever the water is completely clear. Tim when filling up my new tank I used a small air line hose and siphoned the water into the tank. I have a mr aqua 12 it took a little longer but I had virtually 0 cloudy water it works great Link to comment
Dylan.N
Yea I learned from my mistake lol. From now on when filling up a tank I'm going to use a small air line hose. Link to comment
Dylan.N
It is a sad day. R.I.P. Diamond Goby. He had all the caves he ever needed, but decided to take his own life by jumping. He was found under my dresser. WHAT MADNESS DROVE HIM THERE?!?!?! On the bright side I did pick up a new acan and a watermelon zoa frag. Did a water change and they are acclimating now. Oh, and I also had a bacterial bloom. Link to comment
Acielot
Sorry to hear about the goby. They seem determined to escape. Mine would never leave its cave then one day it went missing. It was Fish jerky under the stand :/ Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Damn dude say it ain't true! That sucks bro. It's always tough to lose a fish. Link to comment
Dylan.N
Yea it sucks. Considering building some type of netting for the top of the tank now. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
I usually tempt fate because my rimless tanks look poopy with tops on em. Link to comment
Dylan.N
That's the main reason I went with the rimless tank because it looks so clean. Idk. I'll figure something out. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
You could always have one for when your not around? Then when viewing or around the tank remove it. Link to comment
Dylan.N
Bacterial bloom seems to be receding. I'm currently in love with rock anemones. Link to comment
Dylan.N
This bacterial bloom is so annoying. Makes the tank look like crap. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Well, at least your on your way to a clear tank soon.....sooner than later hopefully! Link to comment
