Great new additions. Love the boots! Whah-whahht?? Geeze, now I kinda really wanna see this.

Thanks! And yeah, I wasn't particularly interested in this movie and then someone told me that Doc Brown would be in it. I don't know the details, but if you look at IMDB, it lists Christopher Lloyd playing Doc Brown. Its probably worth seeing just for that :)

The just arrived. AND they're both juvenile/females!!!! So tiny--about 1.5" long. Pics soon!

Yay! That is so exciting! Glad they made it safely. You having a harem of wrasses is going to be soooo awesome. I'll pop over to your thread later for pics :)

Look at those boobies on the left :lol:

Is that a Lawnmower blenny? I thought about getting one of those, so I can name him Lawn :D. I think they poop a lot though LOL.

Lots of boobies in this tank now

Its an algae blenny, which I believe is also called a lawnmower blenny. I've been wanting a blenny, but I don't want another midas because of awful luck with them wasting away. I was debating between one of these and a starry. I've had a starry before, so I figured I'd give one of these cute little guys a try. Plus Zia has one and its just so cute. I've been wanting one since he got his. My filtration should have no problem handling this guy. I just need to make sure I figure out what he likes to eat. He's the only herbivore fish in the tank now.

I picked up some more tank inhabitants today! A trio of sexy shrimp! I really wanted some to hang out on my rock flower nems. I just hope my yellow coris wrasse doesn't decide they look like tasty snacks. So far so good. I keep the wrasses really well fed with my twice a day feedings, so they shouldn't be looking for more food. I was seeing all 3 earlier, but right now I only see two of them. I'm not worried though since they're so tiny that it would be easy for one of them to hide. When I added them, two of them decided to hang out together near the rock flower nems and the third one went off on its own and is hanging out under the arch in the left rock structure. Here's a quick video of the two that were hanging out together earlier.

Is that 4 rock flowers now? A pic that shows them all?

I have 7, but a couple of them walked off a bit so I can't get them all in a photo. There are 3 from Salt Critters, 3 from VIP, and 1 from my LFS.

Are those your first ever sexy shrimp??????

I'm seriously considering a Lawnmower blenny. They really are adorable :).

Yep! I've never had any before. They're super cute :)

I'll keep you posted on how my blenny is doing. He keeps picking at the rock, but I don't have any algae. So far he doesn't seem interested in frozen or flakes, but he's still settling in. I'm going to wrap some nori around a rock tonight and leave that in the tank for him.

I figure you all will appreciate this. I got a new shirt from JCrew with an octopus! I am such a nerd

Octopus. Reminds me of legendary corals except theirs is more cruel looking lol.

Yeah, this is a sweet octopus. It has hearts in its eyes :)

Love the shirt. That would be cool as a backdrop to an aquarium, if they could make it look 3d.

Wow, I had no idea you were up to 7 already. Yep, you're in love with them too.

Since you dive a lot, have you heard any reviews on these? even though these are for snorkeling. I'm curious.

Wow Felicia; lots of new additions to the tank! New avatar too. Did you buy that shirt on Etsy?

Which LFS has rock flowers??

David

Oh, sorry just saw your post it is from JCrew.

Posting pictures of cocktails too. That is really throwing down the gauntlet!

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm a bit hooked but I'm also out of space. I could maybe cram in one more if I find a really nice one. My newest one is huge!

I saw that new mask, but I haven't heard any reviews. I think its too new for personal reviews. They make full face masks for diving though and have been for a long time. They're pricey though and most people don't use them.

Thank you! And yep the new shirt is from JCrew :)

I got the rock flower from Aquarium Concepts in Dublin. They had probably 8 of them. Mostly white/tan and some green and then a couple red ones. Nothing super premium, but definitely some nice ones and the prices are good.

Just had to share my fun Memorial Day drinks!

I managed to catch the flasher wrasse attempting to jump. I was crouched near the tank to take these photos and he actually managed to splash water on me. He's like Shamu and there's a splash zone

Your tank is looking amazing. Everything is so clear and colorful. I love it all. I think I need a leopard wrasse and a lawnmower blenny

Alright, now how about some corals...

Dendros. For some reason one of the two heads lost flesh on me right after I got it, but the other head is doing great. Now the head that lost tissue is sprouting like 6 different baby heads! They're still super tiny though. Also, look at the COLOR on the KPA rock! So glad I went this route instead of dry rock again.

Newest zoanthids from the trade with Eddie. My favorites are the Goblins Vomits, which are the blue/teal ones and originally came from Glenn.

Nice clean tank!

Thanks so much!

Thanks, Gena! I wanted the seahorse one, but they were running 50% off everything for Memorial Day weekend and it sold out! I was so upset. Its back in stock now though, so I actually ordered the seahorse shirt yesterday. I had to pay full price now, but whatever. Yay!

Thank you so much, Gena. I'm loving how much easier it is to photograph now that its not so cluttered. The leopard wrasse is my absolute favorite fish. She is so spunky, outgoing, and sweet! I would definitely recommend one. The lawnmower blenny is super cute so far, but he seems to have a bad habit of kicking up sand. I'm hoping he finds a nice rock perch and cuts that out. Also, I still have to get him to eat.

I forgot about that brain .

Yeah, I love it! Its been sooo puffy lately.

I just looked and it's sold out online. Ebay has them though, I bought one LOL. It's too cute.

The seahorse shirt? Glad I jumped on that then! Its a nice high quality thick cotton shirt that is sooo comfy. I always hate when cream or white shirts are thin so they're see through.

Awesome pics! I really like the diversity you have in your tank, and the over all placement of everything looks great! Good job! Once it grows out a bit more it will be TOTM worthy for sure.

Thank you so much, Glenn! Did you see I have some of your zoas now? I need to place an order from you at some point! I am really thrilled about how this has come together after the crash. You are too kind! Maybe once this tank is much older :)

Oh, btw, I'll get a new video up for you all later :)

I initially just scrolled though and looked at the pics. I now see that you have the very first CGA signature coral, the "Goblin's Vomit", lol. That's such a horrible name! It was named that just to test a theory, which it proved to be true. Most people will look right over even the nicest coral if it doesn't have a ridiculous name attached to it. I really hate the name game, but it's a necessary evil for my business. i still try to stay away from it as much as possible. Lately I've been listing colonies on ebay under the description that is used by my wholesaler. We'll see how well that works out...

It really is an awful name, but they're gorgeous zoas. I've been wanting them since Eddie got them. They're my favorite color and I love the patterning on them. The whole trend with named zoas is so crazy! I was super in to that for a bit, but now I'd rather just grab pretty ones and not worry about it. Its funny how much easier it is to sell frags though when you use the names.
