D Z
Well I haven't made any updates in a while. I have taken a bunch of pics over the past week or two. I have just been too busy to post them. Here are some shots to take a look at..... My torch was one of my first corals that I bought. It is really starting to out grow this tank. I am thinking I might have to sell it. I would love to upgrade right now, but it is just not really the right time. I gets about 6 inches wide when fully extended. Can anyone tell me how much they think this might go for? Torch by cchsoracle, on Flickr FTS FTS by cchsoracle, on Flickr My rainbow Acan from WWC is sprouting all kinds of babies. There are more around the back, but I can't really get a picture. Acan babies by cchsoracle, on Flickr My zoas are doing well, but still do have a couple pox here and there. I have been neglecting this somewhat, haven't had the time to do the nightly dips. Luckily, it is not getting any worse. They still all look great at least. Zoas by cchsoracle, on Flickr The acro I picked up a couple weeks ago is doing great and starting to color up! Here is a daytime shot... WWC Toxic Acro by cchsoracle, on Flickr And a night time shot... WWC Toxic Acro by cchsoracle, on Flickr My Bizzaro Cyphastrea is starting to look good again. The yellow clown goby must have really nipped at this thing bad for the couple hours it was in the tank before I got it out. I just started seeing PE within the past week. It looks like the color is starting to come back as well. I cannot wait until this colors back up as it is such a beautiful piece. Day shot WWC Bizzaro Cyphastrea by cchsoracle, on Flickr Night shot WWC Bizzaro Cyphastrea by cchsoracle, on Flickr The green/pink cyphastrea is doing great. It has pretty much colored back up to where it should be and is spreading great. You can see where it is encrusting over the edges of the plug. Cyphastrea by cchsoracle, on Flickr Link to comment

D Z
So I went on a vacation for 5 days and came home to all of my coral getting a little too close to each other. I am not quite sure why, buy they were all open way more than I have ever seen. My duncan and plate coral were touching each other and did a little bit of damage, and the duncan was getting really close to my green and pink cyphastrea. One of my rics split and half of it was sitting in between the 2 rock structures down on the sand bed. My torch has about half killed my freebie favia and was getting really close to my WWC Bizzaro cyphastrea and rainbow acan. Some algae on the glass and some kind of macro algae has started growing on the skeleton of one of my acans. Needless to say, I immediately started mixing water and moving stuff around to avoid any further issues. I was able to get things situated and am pretty sure everything will be ok, except for the favia which isn't looking too good. And I am really starting to consider upgrading to a bigger tank. famousdan314
Take your torch in at the LFS for a trade. Most stores will let you trade as long as it's healthy. Link to comment
D Z
Take your torch in at the LFS for a trade. Most stores will let you trade as long as it's healthy. I have thought about it, but I really am trying to hold off and see if I can get a bigger tank running so that I do not lose it. It was the first piece of coral I ever bought, so I have somewhat of an attachment to it. Last night I was able to move everything around enough to a point where it is no longer in jeopardy of touching anything else, so I am ok for now. Link to comment

D Z
Do u know what ur parameters where before u left and what they are now No. Actually I haven't done any water testing in a little while now. Everything looks good today so I really am not worried about it. I just need to figure out where I am going to go from here, whether it be a bigger tank or a downsizing. Link to comment
Cameron6796
I'd say bigger , maybe something with a similar foot print, cad lights 18 II or I'm nuvo 30 Link to comment
D Z
I have been looking into the CAD 34 Mini II with the new PLS-50 Elite....just not sure when I will have the time to do it. Trying to figure it out in the next couple of days. Link to comment
D Z
So I finally had to bite the bullet and take the torch out of my tank. It was just getting way to close to too many things. It definitely has hurt my favia frag quite a bit, but everything else should be just fine. I brought it over to my brother-in-law and put it in his 55, which is a slightly more nutrient rich tank. It should do well there until I can figure out what I am going to do. HEre is a shot now that it is gone..... https://flic.kr/p/ooRfUu'>https://flic.kr/p/ooRfUu'>20140722_192809 by https://www.flickr.com/people//'>cchsoracle, on Flickr Still considering an upgrade and the CAD 34G Mini is still on the top of my list. I just need to figure out where I would put it. Link to comment
D Z
Upgrade time!!! Today was the day. I just finished ordering everything for the upgrade! My pocket feels a bit lighter...ok maybe a little bit more than a bit lighter, but I am excited to say the least. Check out my sig for a link to the upgrade! Link to comment

D Z
Oh and btw - If anyone is interested in this tank, I will be listing it for sale eventually once everything is transferred over to the 34. Let me know. It would be awesome if I had a buyer in line ahead of time, but I am probably just dreaming....lol. Link to comment
wildbill79
What are you asking for the tank? I am in Jacksonville, so not that far from you. Link to comment

Wow, I really wasn't expecting anyone to be interested that quick. And TY for the kind words. I will not be selling everything, as some of the equipment will be moving over to the new tank. Basically, this is what would be included: Nuvo 8 SpinStream NanoBox Mini Tide(pre lime) w/ Storm controller MJ900(upgraded return pump) InTank media basket It is all in great shape. The tank doesn't have any major scratches. The light is only a couple months old. Everything will be thoroughly cleaned before it is sold. Basically, all you would need to add is a heater and rock/sand/water and it would be ready to go. This all retails for around $625. Therefore, I would be asking somewhere in the range of $475 for everything. I would like to sell it locally and as a package, if possible, but would consider parting it out if it doesn't move in a week or two once it is all cleaned up and ready to go. Link to comment
D Z
Well I had to move the tank again to get ready for the new tank. These will probably be some of the last pictures I share of the Nuvo. It actually looks really good where it is at now, so it is kinda a shame I will be taking it down, but bigger is better. 20140804_190923 by cchsoracle, on Flickr I have had some algae that I have been trying to get rid of. I am trying to find out exactly what this stuff is. When I moved the tank, I ripped most of this out, but it just keeps coming back. I also bought a couple blue leg hermits to see if they would eat it. We will see. 20140801_171003 by cchsoracle, on Flickr 20140802_212544 by cchsoracle, on Flickr This stuff I believe is sea lettuce. It has been growing on the skeleton of this bowerbanki. I got off as much as I could. I think the hermits are eating whats left. 20140801_171019 by cchsoracle, on Flickr Last but not least, I had to take a quick pic of my WWC Bizarro Cyphastrea. It has been getting better color and great PE lately. Hopefully, under the T5s in the new tank, it will color up even more. This is not even close to where it should be, but it is progress. 20140801_170855 by cchsoracle, on Flickr Link to comment
