gulfsurfer101
Holy batballs, l luff it! Reminds me of places we used to visit up north when I was working in Illinois for the summer when I was in hs. We used to find abandon assylums, old buildings, cemetaries in the middle of cornfields. I used to love to just get out and check out some of man's forgotten creations left behind to be claimed by the earth it decays on. Link to comment
patback
I love pictures like these. It's hard to explain but like you said, seeing places that are usually chock full off people abandoned is incredibly creepy yet eye catching. Link to comment

Big factories, hospitals, asylums... ugh, I'm jealous when I see pics from urbexers up there. I love pictures like these. It's hard to explain but like you said, seeing places that are usually chock full off people abandoned is incredibly creepy yet eye catching. It feels even creepier than it looks when you are actually walking around the place. Its so quiet except for the cars passing along the interstate a little ways off. Link to comment

BattleAthletics
Lani, I'm glad you went with a friend but I was curious if you are at all fearful of your safety when you find abandoned places. I mean not just the possibility of being mugged but structural safety of the buildings themselves? ^^^^^^Scared Kat^^^^^^ Reminds me of Chernobyl lol No, its very sad. The plants management knew they were pushing the limits on the Reactors. I would love to visit Chernobyl. No you wouldnt, I wouldnt go if they paid me. The levels of radiation are incredibly high. Do you know exactly what happened in Chernobyl? Without having to google it what do you know about it? Same difference, lol And thanks! This weekend I'll be heading up to Shreveport so I might swing by a couple of the abandoned schools up there to revisit them. Ohh shiiiieeeettt. Why dont you take some pics inside the casino(extreme stealthy) of old people losing their money/winning their money? I like some of the word tagging. Examples: "The rides suck but the people are ####in great." "XYZSEKA" "FUSN * AMYK" "Oh I feel just like a child"(This one was creepy with the hands) "CATFISH"" Following btw. LMFAO Link to comment

Why dont you take some pics inside the casino(extreme stealthy) of old people losing their money/winning their money? There are parts of Chernobyl where the radiation isn't terribly high, I've seen plenty of pics and documentaries of people going in to some of the area. All I remember is there was some kind of attempt to shut down then a power surge caused the explosion or somesuch. And what, why the heck would I want to go to a casino, especially one up north? They're just full of dirty Texans anyways. Link to comment

Paandemonium
Nope, no jumping fences! We found a secluded back entrance and strolled right in. There was zero security this time around. Lalani doing illegal things! Wuuuut? I would love to visit Chernobyl. I dont think the cells in your body would.. lol Its still a highly radioactive zone and people aren't allowed very close to it. Even if you were would you risk having 11 toed children for some peesures? x) EDIT: Just read the other comment. I was assuming you meant rightttttt up where the stuff happened lol Link to comment

DannaM
Amazing pics. They make you feel so sad. Lost memories of all the people who went there before the storm. When I was a kid I used to love searching through abandoned farms and old factories. There was an old mine near us but all the local kids used it as a paintball place and it got closed down because of how dangerous it became. Again...awesome pics Link to comment
