How deep is the back compartment going to be? No overflow teeth? Looks great to me, I personally like the look of a toothless overflow waterfall better.

 

i made it 5 inches by 10 inches. no room for a skimmer or anything because its not very wide but ill be able to fit any media i want and most importantly my hand in the back. i just finished painting the wall so its drying now then ill silicone it in.

The most important part! This is where the Spec V failed me, and also consequently how I damaged mine beyond repair.

Lol. Yeah those specs are cool but are just too small for me.

 

Today is water test day. Going to set everything up and make sure it runs properly. If so then ill throw some salt in it and head to the lfs for some rock.

water test went great. had a slight little leak under the wall but nothing that would concern me.

i have a video as well. as soon as it uploads ill place it on here. i threw some salt in it so now im waiting for that to mix. after im off to get some rock! i gotta say, i love this thing already. it is a billion times quieter than that ac70 and ill get some better filtration out of it.

also picked up 9 lbs of rock from the lfs. after im done grubbin on some micky dees ill go play with some epoxy and superglue and make my scape. had a nice one set up at the store so im gonna try to re make it.

what if u swap the 2 rocks around and use the small piece to make an overhang between them.

i want the one on the left to stay there. i have a perfect spot that the torch will fit in where it will stay out of the way from everything else.

okay, now i do think this is the one! i took the piece that was on top and put it on the flat spot where there wasnt much character. then grabbed a small piece of rock i had from other tank and put it where the other one was.

Yup staying bare bottom. Stocking wise im keeping the clowns. Might get a tsb. Coral will be zoas, palys, acans and softies like shrooms. Id like to get a rock nem but not sure. Just want to keep this as simple as possible.

i also have a few things coming in sometime next week. a pretty cool zoa frag that they call krakenz, a fluffy bonsai shroom (looks like a furry shroom but less "furry" and its super bright green. also a demonic favia and just because the price was so super cheap a cryptic sunset monti.

looking real good !!! hows the wp10 working for you? was it ok before the AIO conversion? how much flow is your return pump? love the acans!!

Thanks. The wp10 is great. With the return pump its a little too much though. I was running it on else mode before but now its on constant on the lowest setting. And im not too sure about the gph on the return. Its just a maxijet 900. I think its around 500-700 ish
