CrazyCarl
If you are in NY there is a frag swap April 28th in Manhattan. PEA is attending as a vendor. You may be able to get in touch with them and see if you can get early access to their May Clam delivery. Just a thought since I read you can also pre order livestock and they will bring it to the swap. Tickets are $25. Link to comment

flypenfly
It could be a recent changing in my light mix but I feel like my large clam's mantle is turning brown... is that a sign of too much light or not enough? I've read different opinions on it... Link to comment
flypenfly
Here are some pic comparisons taken today, compare to above. The problem though is that different WB and different color mixes were used so I'm not sure how helpful it would be to compare. It would be nice to know if I need to turn up my lighting or turn it down... Link to comment
ZephNYC
Hi there It,s altering its pigments to acclimate to your light. Has nothing to do with intensity but spectrum rather. Im concerned about your little squamosa to the left of the deresa. It appears to be gaping. These are Divers Den Clams Correct ? ORA Squamosas and also the small deresa.????? As far as light, you can only have too little and never too much, so feel free to turn it up if you so desire. Link to comment
flypenfly
The small squamosa is from a LFS (fauna) and the others are from http://www.saltyunderground.com/index.php I may or may not be picking up some this coming weekend at the frag swap from Pacific if I see a beautiful one. Good to know about the lighting, I'll be ramping up to a 100% on each channel on my Razor 160 over the week slowly. Link to comment
