I was curious about the coral attcks and growing over one another too... must take a lot to maintain that tank!!! Very, very nice tank! however it is not difficult to maintain, because I found the right balance and dosage of food and carbonates is automated :-) attack the corals was challenging, how to make a mosaic! I often used the glue 'attack gel' or even the milliput bi-component. I think you need more coral. You don't have enough. What part of Italy are you from? ho ancora spazio, in qualche punto si vede ancora la libera roccia ahahahahaha!! I study marine biology in Ancona (central Italy), but I'm native to the region Puglia (southern Italy) ;-) Quote Link to comment

Chrisl1976
I see a future canidate for TOTM. I've never heard of feeding corals yeast. Can you explain this? Yes.....I did a double take on that. Beer for me, Beer for the tank. Quote Link to comment
erisen
I've never heard of feeding corals yeast. Can you explain this? the yeast of beer alive is a good source of vitamins and an excellent substitute of bacteria-plankton. It is also rich in enzymes that accelerate the bacterial reproduction. is a very economical but useful way to feed corals, but be careful to not use too much or bacterial causes an explosion in the tank!
