icedearth15324
Croceas and Maximas prefer being on the rock work, so they would technically be fine in a bare bottom tank. Link to comment

DRLOVEtoreef
Thank you for the fast replies ... When introducing them, should I just place them on the bottom or create a small rock pile to keep them upright or should a healthy clam keep itself upright? Link to comment
icedearth15324
If possible, put a small rock underneath the clam, so it can attach to it. That way you can move the clam later on without worrying about damaging it. You could put small rocks next to the clam to keep it upright, but it should stay upright for most part. If it keeps falling down, then it's probably not a good spot. Link to comment
