Fish_Maniac Posted April 30, 2013 Author Share Posted April 30, 2013 Wow its been a long time since ive updated. There has been some significant changes to the tank in the past few weeks. The biggest change is the lighting. I scrapped the 2x24 T5HO fixture in favour of a nicer, smaller par38 fixture. I am really happy with the result. I only swapped the lighting a few days ago and a lot of the corals are still adjusting, but the colours in the tank really pop and everything just looks a lot nicer. As far as livestock, the urchin wrecked havoc throughout the whole tank and munched several colonies of zoas, Acans, and nibbled away at a load of other colonies. It has been in the rockwork for weeks now but it is still alive and isn't dropping any spines. I would take it back but I just cant get it out of the rocks. I added a new Maxi Mini to the tank and I think im hooked. Definitely picking up at least one more this week Ill try and put up some pics and an updated FTS later tonight. Link to comment
