so it's prolly a boy? you called him a girl

i feel that firefish are little too nice to for your tank

well it was paired with a smaller [male?] so im pretty sure its a female.

im thinking about a pair of helfrichi :bling: ive got the money, so why not?

i have a feeling they will get beat up.

the blenny is kinda mean, the maroon will get kinda mean, big wrasse can be kinda mean, your fish seem kinda mean

you could try it i guess. kinda mean doesn't mean mean.

He's right, all those fishies will get more aggressive with age, especially the clown, then the blenny will get territorial, Pseudocheilinus are actually all suprisingly aggresive, my wrasse (same size as yours) will be eating my gobies and blennies in about a year. I think most likely firefish would get picked on, but it is possible

If u can dream it u can do it :D

Looks like a vacation forum, so might as well join in. Im also going on vacation for 2 weeks in europe and get to see the olympics. Lets hope all three of our tanks dont crash

got home from vacation... tank is a mess.

the overflow stopped working somehow, draining ~23 gallons of water onto the floor.

draining the sump. im not sure if any of the pumps burned out, i havnt tested yet.

the tank is now running about 3 inches low with out a sump. ive gotta take about the overflow and see what the hell happened.

and on top of that, algae is starting to grow.

but there is good news, the coral and fish seem to be doing good.

Dang. Major bummer. Time to upgrade the overflow to something with a syphon break. Glad everything seemed to make it thou.

i have a gl#######s overflow. so i have no idea what happened. maybe a snail? the tank is only a couple months old so i don't see how else it could be clogged?

I'd be curious to know how it overflowed. I have the 700gph. Do you have the coarse mesh filter material in there?

on the intake?

i did, but i that didnt do it. i took it off and it was clear. and if it was slowing the flow down why would it completely drain over night?
