In the wild, that dance is a defense mechanism they use, when scared. It convinces predators that the fish is nuts, and they don't wanna eat it. If that doesn't work, they dive, head-first, into the sand. They sleep in the sand, as well. I guess, "you can set your watch, to their bedtime dive." Weird fish. Link to comment

Maybe for a larger shop.... But, these guys normally buy 6-10 (max.) They have a pretty small customer base, and an even smaller amount of "clam customer's". It's pretty much me, and 3 other guy's that buy their clam's. They've been buying them 3-5 at a time, and so have I... Last week I had them order me a French Polynesian Clam, but they sold it before I saw what came in. Sold it for waaaaaaaaay more than I would've paid, tho.... Can't be mad at that..... There's other guy's that drop ($$$$$$$$$$$!!!!).... (Read: HELLA cash!!!!!) I've just setup 100's of tank's through them, and I spread their name EVERYWHERE. So, I get KILLER deal's. (Guess where I bought most of that "cheap" stock, that I resold...) Clam's should be between Tues.-Thurs. Understand: I bring them so much business, because they made me so much money. I bought the most finicky wrasse you could get... - Sometimes they stay in the sand for days. - Soemtimes they hear you coming and hide. - Sometimes their sleep schedule is still on Fiji time. - Sometimes they take the first flight out of the tank, via carpet surfer airlines... - etc., etc. Link to comment
