JoelRHale
Lol @ Ballz. Looks good, pismo, now you just have to drain it, put it in it's spot, fill it, and transfer it. Can we expect a transfer to take place in the next few days? Link to comment
pismo_reefer
Sumped 20H, water test!!! [Watch in HD!] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCrVsOVs18A ---------------------------- That flow in your tank is absolutely ridiculous. Pure nuts. I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot. Nah... I thought you got the inferred value of why I called you "ball's". It's an inderict gesture of respect.... It's weird up here, ball'z... it's weird up here. :huddlesinacornerandsucksthumbwhilerockingbackandforthinthefetalposition: This is too damn funny! ----------------------------- Lol @ Ballz. I know right? Ballz is jaw-some. He's cool like this.---> Looks good, pismo, now you just have to drain it, put it in it's spot, fill it, and transfer it. Can we expect a transfer to take place in the next few days? Fekk yea.... Imma get this beast in by tomoro night. I just have to get a couple Rubbermaid tubs for water, livestock holding, flatworm treatment, etc. Then, it's on like Donkey Kong on a banana binge, Son!!! Link to comment
iball1804
Just remember to dip and dip and dip. You can't have those flatworms in your new tank. Is there a sure-fire way to get keep them out? Link to comment

pismo_reefer
The sure way, is to treat for flatworm's 4x in a row. Then, boil the liverock.... Link to comment
pismo_reefer
Do any of you realize how HARD it is, to get BARNACLE blennies out of BARNACLE's!!?? I did it... but. gawd..... It took me an HOUR! ------------------ The secret to removing them from rock: - hold rock out of water until temp. decreases. (above the tank, for gawd's sake.) - Flip rock upside-down, and dunk into tank for 5-10 second's. - Blennies will abandon rock, one at a time.... No 2 blennies will EVER leave the LR, at the same time. - As they abandon rock, REMOVE IT FROM THE TANK. (blenny will shoot back to rock, if given the chance!) - Net loose blenny. - Repeat.... It took me 45 minutes of poking, prodding, feeding (started as 'trapping', man was that a joke.), before I figured out the above trick.... Link to comment
JoelRHale
I just took the rock Vincent was in and put it in the new tank. I know you didn't have that luxury but there was no way he was coming out! Link to comment
pismo_reefer
I'm mixing nsw in the tank, atm. I bought the wrong size fitting, for the Loc-Line return. Enter, ghetto pvc return pipe.... Delusion, as it sit's.... Led's, for the frag area, haven't come in yet.... Jayden helped me put it all together.... My tank is almost one Cracker tall... Current FTS... ---------------------------- I also replaced the Rio 14-HF, w/ a Rio-1400.... The 14-HF was RIDICULOUSLY LOUD....IN THE SAME WAY THIS TYPING IS LARGE... (I really couldn't even think, it was so damned loud!) Some of you will notice that my display light is offset to the right. This is because I intend to make my focus on clams, and LPS. Clam's occupying the sand, LPS on the rock's. Tomoro is livestock swap day. I have to treat them with FW Exit, and boil some rock. Then.... Game on! ----------------------------- I just took the rock Vincent was in and put it in the new tank. I know you didn't have that luxury but there was no way he was coming out! Yea... I have to boil their home tomoro. So, they couldn't stay... Well, they could've, but that would make their whole journey, from LA to me, pointless.... Link to comment

pismo_reefer
Today: - Boil Live Rock. - Treat LR w/ flatworm exit, post boil. (No such thing as overkill, when it comes to murder.) - Treat livestock w/ flatworm exit. - Drain display. - Add sand. - Add rock. - Add water back in. (5g's old, 18g's new....Yes, my tank, in all actuality, holds 23g's.) After setup: - Dose w/ nutrafin cycle for 3-day's. - Water change on day 3. - Then one more round of FW Exit, and another wc, 2-days later! At this point, 5 day's from now, All should be good... It looks amazing. I wish I could be happy, but I just found out that my mother in law is a stupid wh*re. She's been pretending to be middle class, by withdrawing money from her DEAD MOTHER's accounts! To the average person, this would just be illegal. To us, this means she's gotten herself and her daughter removed from a million dollar inheritance. I still have money, but this was the last straw.... And, all because she didn't have the spine to admit she was broke. Now she'll be broke forever.... Link to comment
