exosket Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 what about feeding the dying fish to an anemone? Wouldn't that seem like the most natural way? I dunno. I could never stick a fish in a freezer and wait for it to slowly die or any of the other methods. Usually, I leave the fish in the tank and let him pass away there. Link to comment

FlCandy Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Clove oil is very humane and will work, we did experiments in school for my AP Bio class like 9-10 years ago and we added ice to the goldfish's bowls, they just slowed down they didn't look in pain and if the fish is already weak and nearly there I don not see how this could hurt it. People who survive hypothermia say they are warm not cold, they don't feel the cold it puts you to sleep then you stop functioning. That's all. No need for arguing on a thread where someone is asking for help. I am so sorry Awpong and I have been following your build from the beginning and have been so excited to see your fish and now this .
