Psychosis
That hawkward thing was all ways lame. I really considered putting my Acanthastrea on one base rock, right above where the war coral is mounted. I haven't so far, but that's mainly because they all look so damn happy on the sand. It's mostly Euphy's fault, I think. Nice score though. My mystery where a St.Thomas, Sky blue center Favia, and a little paly colony I traded for a tailspot blenny, in response to that question you had days ago. Link to comment
iball1804
Nips where have you been? Link to comment

iball1804
2g WC and siphoning performed. Things are really looking good! Quick question, I'm having trouble finding places for my corals to stay. I've included a pic of my current tank and a list of the corals I recently bought. If you can recommend, or even better, draw where you think they should go, that'd be great! Thanks I bought: 1x War Coral 4x Acan 4x Zoanthids 1x Mushroom 1x Favia Link to comment
metrokat
Lol @ the name change For coral placement, need a pic of the tank from eye level but in general: war coral (this is a favia BTW): moderate light and flow - placement middle of tank Acans: moderate light and flow, placement towards the bottom. Zoas: moderate light and flow, placement mid tank Mushroom: low-moderate light and low flow, placement bottom of tank Favia - same a war coral, war coral is favia. for more info, live aquaria is a good site to visit Link to comment

iball1804
War Coral = Favia. OK. I was going to say, they looked extremely similar... I guess that's the best pic of the tank straight on. Can you work with it? Name change! Link to comment

metrokat
War Coral = Favia. OK. I was going to say, they looked extremely similar... I guess that's the best pic of the tank straight on. Can you work with it? Name change! The placement looks okay. The only variable that remains is how much flow those placement areas are getting from the filter and power head. So you could epoxy the frags down but if you want to move them for some reason, be sure to use only a little epoxy. Link to comment
iball1804
That's a good idea. I've gt downward flow from the filter and diagonal from the powerhead Corals are already in! They look great! Link to comment
