FlCandy
To start us off! Poe! Corals acclimating after WC. New SPS Zoas, and a War coral that was not doing well in the other guys tank. So I am going to see if it likes mine. All Corals were dipped and checked. It looks better since I placed it a few hours ago. Fruity Loop Zoas, they are open now! He gave me 6 polyps! Glued Down A's Candy Cane (it is his Fave! ) I love this guy! And the Purple Plasma Top Half FTS 2-22-12 So that's it for now! I will have more on Friday! Link to comment

FlCandy
Well, now I want more coral. Looks great! Thanks! I love the few locals who are cool and like to help people with new tanks out. These were all under T5 before I got them and were getting too much light, so they should be plenty happy in my tank. Almost full! Link to comment
Felicia
So much new stuff!!! Everything is looking great Randi, and as usual, Poe looks absolutely adorable Link to comment

I just got a midas myself, now my favorite fishy. His name is Dr Seuess. How can he not be! They are so cool! Thanks! I have been hoping it would fill in and looks like I have it all now! Just need more mushies! We told you so Randi....awesome new stuff I can't wait to see this tank grown out!!!!!! You have made fantastic coral selections!!!!! Thanks! A keeps saying it needs to be a year from now already as he wants to see it grown out. Funny thing is I never wanted the SPS to begin with, was going to just do LPS and softies, then got that Birdsnest and Monti (at A's insistence) and have become addicted! I can't wait to see the SPS all grown out, they like the T5s' and all are showing great PE. Just need to test tonight and then again on Saturday before I do the second WC. Hoping to get this cyano under control. Seems better today, we will see! Link to comment

FlCandy
Sweet! Love your choices in corals. Looking forward to now growth pictures and etc I know! I am so essited! Nice stand/sump setup! Going to be awesome. Time to build baffles! Thanks! I am getting them precut, I may measure them and get them cut for Wednesday, I still need to get the silicone as well...... Really scared I will get the wrong stuff, the big thing is to make sure it has no mold killer in it right? Link to comment
andrewguilfoy
GE is okay, I've only heard as long as it isn't "silicone II". make sure it's not for windows, and the back doesn't read anywhere towards the top "mold protection". 100% rubber is what you're looking for. I actually just buy the marineland stuff at petsmart. Building a 10g sump right now as we speak! Waiting for things to dry. I got my glass cut at Ace Hardware ($1.60 a baffle, like 9 bucks total) if you have one close by. I just gave them the dimensions and the number of pieces I need. It's just regular plate glass, but the pressure in a 10g shouldn't be ridiculous that I need anything thicker. Link to comment
Woogalie
GE #1 like above poster said. I used that and nothings dead. Essited for you FICandy Link to comment

I am running at 20-30 gallon SUMP so I am going to go a bit thicker with the glass hoping it will hold better. And I have a glass company literally down the street, so I am thinking 1/2" should be fine. GE #1 like above poster said. I used that and nothings dead. Essited for you FICandy Thanks Woogs! Sorry if Im way behind on the news but are you getting a new tank drilled with an overflowbox? pls respond so essite! Nope, same tank, new DIY Stand and DIY SUMP/Refug. A is building the stand and it is WAY overbuilt! I have a HOB overflow, and a Mag 7 for a return pump, I am going to be on a 38" stand now so it has to go up at least 5.5 feet to get back into the tank. SO we are having to take the stuff out when we move it as I don't have any of the rocks glued down, I will have to do that when I put it back together...... On a side note Yesterday when I was gluing the frags on to their plugs I managed to not get glue all over my hands! I was "sew happy!" Link to comment

FlCandy
Ive never done that before. I have sooper grue on my fingers right now! It totally sucks! And I really didn't want any on me! So I went slow and have nails so I could kind of pinch the frags! HAHA it worked! Link to comment
FlCandy
New FTS Krispy and Kreme were out today, I moved the Mushrooms they were burying and now they have to make a new front door.
