FlCandy
Mine is hosting my sexy shrimp and I saw one of the clowns rubbing against one as well. The person I got them from said his clown is hosted by this variety...maybe there are different kinds. The ones I got are not sticky. Only the foot is sticky-ish. Mine is super sticky! I mean he tried eating my finger 2-3 times while I was placing him. The cool thing with it was it never even closed, it just opened up more. It ate well this morning when I was feeding the dendro his Cyclops, I am going to try a small piece of some frozen salmon I refuse to cook as it has been frozen 3 months now...... Still okay for the tank though! Link to comment

gena
this is my first hurricane! school is off tommorow too! I've never experienced a hurricane. I'd like to someday...crazy as that sounds. I was watching TWC today and saw that schools were closed. Enjoy the day off Link to comment
jedimasterben
None of the schools in my county are, the winds for here are supposed to be around 15-20MPH, so the buses can still run. It should be like any other Florida rainstorm tomorrow for Okeechobee. It's really not that bad, and I've been through Category 4 and 5 storms. All you hear is howling and things bashing together, then you walk out your door and see tree limbs and leaves and bushes all over the place and you have a big mess to clean up. Link to comment
FlCandy
So I ended up with over 3-4 inches of water in my yard and all the roads were flooded by about 2-3 feet here in Lake Worth until yesterday. Apparently they are still under 5' of water in the Acreage and no one can drive out there. I have some pics for you guys sorry for the delay, we didn't lose power or anything just ALOT of rain we couldn't flush the toilet at all due to the water table being so high and that was fun! So Pics, this is a 1/2 FTS of the DT New crown, I moved the Palmers Millie up seems much happier. SPS with Poe bombing the pic.... PITA Musies and Lobo The Valley Acans Squishy The Stinging Duo Xerxes Speedy Lighting Fire Tango, he needs a friend ... Dobbie FTS SUMP 8-26-12 So hope that makes up for the lack of pics over the weekend and thanks again guys for keeping this thread alive, if it was just me posting I wouldn't really bother anymore. Hope everyone in FL weathered the storm well, and hope the people On the Gulf Coast don't have too much of a clean up. After sleeping through Hurricanes Andrew, Charlie, Jean and Katrina that was nothing. Just more stressful because of the fish tank. Also had some injections in my back on Monday so we will see if this starts to help the pain, all I know is Tuesday I was a wreck! Have a nice day everyone. Link to comment

People are still under water and places are impassable in those areas. I mean people boating down the streets instead, or using their swamp buggies. Thanks for the compliments on the tank, had a minor heart attack yesterday when I came home for lunch and the skimmer had gone wacko, all is well again! Was just over-skimming now all is skimming like a dream again. LMAO Silly machines! Link to comment

Glad to read you got the skimmer under control .. they do that sometimes when you add something to the water like some types of food or an additive ... happened to me too in the past. Stay well.
