The tank survived the trip! Looks like everything made it, I'll post a more detailed update once I get finished moving in. :)

DUDE! You never came over and got any strawberrys for the tank :o

lol, yeah, I was really busy! I think I can find some down here though. ;)

Those pictures are amazing. Wow! Glad the move went ok. It's so stressful moving a tank.

Looking forward to the update. :)

Thanks! Here it is:

So yeah, things are pretty good! All the sponges died before the trip, everything that was around when I left made it down, except the chiton for some reason. but yeah, I've been really busy with school starting, so I apologize for the late update, hopefully I can keep these up every once in a while!

Where again did you find the gunnel? I gotta get me one of those :D

You found the blood star free diving the rocks near oceanside, out near cape meares right?

Gunnel was in a tidepool at the base of a seastack south of haystack rock. I got down to the beach from the Arcadia Beach parking lot, then walked north - it's not too far. also - you can have mine when it outgrows my tank!

And yeah, the star was freediving around cape meares. :)

I was going to do a CA coast reef, but I thought the collection laws were pretty strict. How much did the permit for collecting cost?
