ryz
I have been thinking about getting a squamosa clam for quite some time now. I was wondering if one would do well in my 20 High with 55 watts of Powercompact and 30 watss of NO. Also, would I need to acclimate it to my aquarium? what are some tips for caring for these clams? Of course, I'm refering to Tridacna Squamosa, Not to Crocea DEresa or Maxima( I know they are outta my league.) Link to comment

Physh1
Yeah, it can be done. If you don't have them yet you really need to get kits for calcium, alk, and pH to make sure you keep the water up to par for a clam. Water quality is very important period and even more when you are trying to keep some light intensive critters in lower light situation. The more light the better so if you can do an upgrade I'd do it. Cameron Link to comment
