cool. how do you expect the anthias & flasher to interact.

I think they will be fine. When Sunburst Anthias are in a tank with wrasses and tangs, they tend to just swim all around at the bottom. Most likely will be fine.

Oh. and the type of Firefish I'm getting is just the regular red Firefish.

thats a nice fish list... what's the forcast for your tank. any flooding in the future?

Thanks.

I don't think there will be flooding. No promises though haha. Investing in a good overflow FTW.

Sunburst Anthias are nice. Too bad I went with Lyretails. I wish I hadn't. =(

I got my brother-in-law to get one. It ended up jumping into the back chambers of his biocube and died. I told him to get a fish saver from Stevie but until now he procrastinates.

Lyretails are nice but I'm not getting one because they are quite aggressive towards gobies and other fish like them.

Stinks about the anthias dying :(

A few questions for you guys...

What other corals do you recommend to get?

Please provide a link so I can see it please :)

Also if there are any fish you think I might like don't hesitate to mention! :)

Well I know someone who's kept them for years, and if fed consistently, they have never done anything and dissipated the aptaisia. They readily accept mysis, too.

if your thinking filefish

http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=212738

my recomended fish list would be

helfrick

mccosker flasher

that omg expinsive candy you saw earlier

candy hog since the other candy is to expencive to think about

orange spoted filefish but be ready to feed it sps if needed

mandarin which is allready on your list

dwarf golden moray (will most likely eat your gobys but you can dream right)

jawfish either blue spoted or yellow headed

lemonpeal dwarf angel

yasha hashe goby

but of coarse you probable dont have room for everthing

then as long as your not planing to have sponge linka stars.

clams as many as posable to improve water quality.

cucumbers to improve water quality.

lots of snails, but no crabs! they eat the micro fauna that makes the tank go.

lps/sps - frags from every body on here. trade off the ones you dont like.

sorry for no pics cant seem to atach anything tonight.

5.Tanks going to be primarily sps so obviously no

2.TONS and TONS and TONS of clams are the biggest plan ;)

3.Most likely not. Don't want them nuking my tank and they keave slim everywhere and knock everything over.

4.Getting lots of snails and conches. Some hermit crabs though. And a Porcelain Crab and a pair of Acropora Crabs

Hey what skimmer do you think you'll be getting?

lol Not sure yet. I have to get a really good one for my high bioload. I am thinking a Vertex or a Euro-Fill. Check out my thread in the equipment forum.

just think you could have all the colors, blue, purple, & burgandy/red linka's in your tank. :D

just not the evil green monsters. green bristle stars eat fish, and get over a foot. so be warned.

have you read reef invertebrates by fenner/calfo

http://www.amazon.com/Reef-Invertebrates-E...3598&sr=1-4

lots of goodies on everything your doing.

I hate Brittle Stars! Little goby eaters!

I like the tiny little Micro-Brittle Stars though.

I have not read that book. It's rated great!

Can you tell me more about it please?

Looking at this one

http://www.amazon.com/Conscientious-Marine...roduct_top#noop

Rated 5 stars by 69 people!
