lajz9
So here's an updated FTS. Taking the sexies out of this tank was the best decision I have made in my 2+ years of reef keeping. The tank looks 200% better and everything is open and looking great! I couldn't be more pleased! Link to comment
lajz9
Also added these, not sure what they are... Link to comment

lajz9
Ha, adjusted the budget in that case. I didn't even remember I had those and I found the plug deep down in some rocks when I was rescaping my 40g, they were basically white and looked dead, two months on the frag rack and we're back in business. Amazing how much stress some of these corals can handle. Link to comment
lajz9
Updated FTS for the week: New shipment from Lucid arrives on Tuesday! Tank params have been extremely stable, haven't had to dose a bit. Definitely dig the new Brightwell salt I've been using. Link to comment

lajz9
I really feel like this tank needs some life...besides everything moving with the water and some snails crawling around it's a pretty lifeless looking tank. I just can't make the commitment to adding a fish, they just add so much crap to the tank and I'm not sure if I want to go the route of a couple harlequins or some bumblebee shrimp...what to do...what to do... Suggestions?!?! (Maybe a naso tang?! lol) Link to comment

Suggestions?!?! (Maybe a naso tang?! lol) i'd say that the harlequins may be the same amount of bio-load as a fish, because of the starfish legs needed to feed them. theirs tons of cool inverts you could do, like pom pom crabs, various shrimps, ect. in my opinion you could easily do a fish, you'd just need a low bio-load fish. i'd suggest trimma gobies, eviota gobies, or neon gobys. all tiny and all mostly hover or perch so not much bioload Link to comment

lajz9
Nice. New FTS when everything gets settled? Yeah, probably tomorrow once everything gets settled in. The yuma and the rhodactis are SUPER tiny so they probably won't even be noticed in a FTS, just gotta give em some time to grow out now. Thinking about using my last $15 for a birdsnest frag at the top...it's pretty bare up there. Link to comment
1337TANKHAX
Holy crap that yuma is bomb. Nice pickup on that! Link to comment
