wow, great pictures.

I think I will try to keep this going but here are a few rules for the thread.

Post a pic of your tank

Add some info if you like.

Try to refrain from commenting. If you like to comment, do so on that person's pico thread using their link.

Well, please provide your thread link B)

I think DemTail set up something like this for bigger tanks...but I never saw one for Picos...if this grows, we can have a going FTS for PICOS!

I will be posting mine soon...but if you want to see my tank, click my link, its not ready yet

Version 2: LPS/SPS-dominated pico with LED retrofit

Aquascaping Tips:

• Use several pieces of live rock as oppose to one big rock. This keeps things modular and makes it easy to add/remove pieces or rearrange your rock work down the line.

• Be aware of proportions, especially when putting certain pieces next to each other. Getting this technique down will make a small tank look much bigger than it really is.

• Think of corals as paint and use them harmoniously to "paint" your tank.

• Corals have unique texture and structural properties (especially LPS and SPS corals). Use them to create points of interests and interesting lines and movement.

• Negative space is just as important as positive space. Keeping a good balance between the two makes for an eye-pleasing effect by working structural forms with lighting to create shadows and shaded areas.

It's a yellow tail damsel! Reef safe and have a nice blue tint that shimmer plus active swimmer. Average cost of it about $3-5 top. Reasonable price :)

Mine is a Fiji Blue devil Damsel. he tail whipped the hermit for 30sec when I added it, and then was fine after that. he was 8bux, and has yellowish speckles on the blue part of his body. they have quite the personality....

About time I stuck a few pictures on this thread:

So I finally got a configuration I like from two different angles, so the design is to give a pleasant cave/mountain/overhang front view and a side view of a slow slope incline. Hoping the incline will evenutally be covered wit Zoas to form a nice carpet upwards.

Full Tank with display Fuge. I will be sticking an LED light on the side to light the fuge soon.

Close up view of the cave overhang...

This image was under exposed, but flickr has some real cool tools and I was able to polish this up abit for the post. Side view, you see the foot of the Pennisula (if i can call it that) on the right and the slope upwards to the peak on the left.

Still waiting for my LED to make my light

My 4 gallon pico 1 month old

Me like. Looks like you have some hardy stock in there - which is what I plan on starting with.

What kind of 4 Gal tank is it?
