ezsalt73
I just purchased a small maxima clam for my 20 gallon long reef. I have t5 ho lighting. I have 2 currenx xtreme x2 fixtures with individually contoured reflectors. The bulbs are 2 ati blue plus 1 kz fiji purple and one uvl aquasun 10k. I have the clam placed in the upper portion of the rock work. Would i be able to place him on a piece of live rock down on the sand bed under this lighting, The tank is only 12 inches deep or should i keep him higher up on the rock? Link to comment
Urchinhead
lower should be fine. If he starts to extend his mantle like he's reaching for the light move him. Link to comment
