How would a Maxima do under stock nanowave9 lights 2x24 pcs, I have bulb options, I have the 10k daylight that can be used or i have a dual daylight that sports the 10k and 6700k. As well with the actinic. I have the stock 460 in it but can get a 460/420 dual actinic.

No.

Two reasons:

1) Light is unlikely to be sufficient.

2) Keeping calcium levels will be difficult in a tank that small.

theres threads on this kind of stuff every where...

Yep, there sure is. But cant seem to find much on the benifits of the dual lighting set ups for clams. Perhaps because there is no benifit. lol

I never intended to do it. Just wonder if it can be done. I have a 260 watt orbit fixture that uses 4x65 watt pcs. I seems brighter than the 216 watt t-5 fixture setting right next to it. The T-5 uses 4 54 watt bulbs and are 10,000k and 460 actinic. Both are 48 inch fixtures. Now when we look at the nano wave it seems brighter than both. I of course have no PAR reading for any of them. Ehh, just a thought.
