New maxima clams

They will be in my frag tank for a while growing out. I initially put them in my display and they just can't handle the flow. They are all too small. There is no good spot as I run a pretty big wave in the tank and they tip over.

I love the one on the right. Are those colors accurate? They're a nice departure from the typical blue.

Colors are very accurate.

They actually can take more flow than you think. They are intertidal animals. Try putting them on a piece of rock and let them attach to it then move them into your tank. If they like where you put them from a flow/light perspective they will stay attached to the piece of rock. If they don't they will let go of the rock and fall over which means you need to pick them up put them back on the rock until they reattach and then try again.
