Deleted User 6 Posted June 6, 2011 Author Share Posted June 6, 2011 intensity is low right now - i'm acclimating the corals to the light. probably 30%. it's true to life color-wise. the tank looks brighter to the eye irl. the unit is amazing. DaveFason at nanobox makes them custom. i've got a review started on it in the review section. i'm going to finish it out soon, hopefully. Link to comment

Deleted User 6 Posted June 6, 2011 Author Share Posted June 6, 2011 yep, got the controller. also amazing. the sunrise/sunset on this thing is worth the price of the controller alone. i just ran a storm sim a couple hours ago and when it started my wife goes "Whoa! Your light! Your light's broken!" lol. i've yet to try out the cloud sims, but that's next up. i re-worked that pic above. this is a bit closer. it's hard to get color/brightness right with LEDs. before: Link to comment
Lee Van Reef Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Thats really crisp looking. Theres something about LEDs that just looks a hell of alot better than t5s or halides. That controller sounds great, if it works on other LED units or custom projects it could be a huge hit. Link to comment
