gastwa
I'm keeping 8 clams (crocea, maxima, derasa, squamosa) in a 30 breeder (30 inches long) with T-5s. My tank is probably the same width and height as yours, but it is deeper (front to back). You should be fine with a 4 bulb T-5 with 24w bulbs. I use ATI blue plus and UVL actinic white bulbs. masterbuilder
Agree with the 4-24W T5 lamps. Personally I like 2 ATI Blue+, 1 Fiji Purple, 1 GE 6500K Daylight. Link to comment

lakshwadeep
Can someone post a link to a t5 fixture with a switch for t5 and switch for dayligth i was thinking maybe this http://www.fishneedit.com/3ft4bulbs-with-l34.html What do you mean by "switch for daylight"? "daylight" is a designation for a type of bulb spectrum, and some T5 bulbs are "daylights". Also, most T5 systems have more than one cord so not all the bulbs have to turn on at the same time.
