ChuckP
I have had my crocea clam for almost 3 years now and the other day I looked at my tank to see him laying on his side instead of upright. When I didn't notice him righting himself after a day I went to investigate, 1/3 of his mantle was greatly damaged so I relocated him. He was still closing and reacting to light changes. I moved him to a different place in the tank and the next day it appeared more of his mantle had been eaten. I do not see any snails but did notice a bristle looking worm right before I relocated him. The only recent things I have added are: 1x Cleaner Shrimp 1x Emerald Crab (He has been on the opposite side of the clam so I highly doubt he is involved) 1x Starry Blenny Any ideas? I have heard blennies can nip, but this is not nipping, this is eating. Link to comment
TheUnfocusedOne
there are nudies or snails of some sort that blend into the mantle so you cant see them dip him and quarantine him Link to comment
