Squinchy
I am wondering about my back chambers This is how i was thinking about doing it I think the 3 baffle is useless and just limiting my possibilities for a skimmer in the future, what do you think ? Link to comment
Squinchy
Some update here I glued the first baffle in and eggcrate to hold the filter media in the 1'st chamber, still trying to decide if i should skip the 3 one Kitty tried out the tank right be fore i started gluing Link to comment

Aurora D.
Oooh that looks nice. What brand of tank is it? It looks like an Aqua Design Amano tank with the rimless edges and the cube shape. It looks like the baffles may be a little bit too long, but probably not. By the way cute cat Link to comment
Squinchy
It's a custom tank build by me , the baffle is in the right place , the water goes down and threw the egg crate Going to use a filter media rack in the first chamber, cheato in the second and return and perhaps a skimmer in the third chamber Hehe i adore that cat Link to comment
Aurora D.
Wow, you are a craftsman, I bet thus tank will look phenomonal when your done! Link to comment

Squinchy
Yeah it put up quite a fight haha Ballast and lamp is here, tho i am not sure thay gave my the right ballast, i ask for a HQI and i don't see and marking on it that indicates it's HQI also cut the teeth in the black plexy for the overflow And glued in the last baffle Link to comment
Squinchy
Thing are going alone nicely i drilled a hole for the very expensive Hydor Flo witch costs 32,82$ here and i also did glue in the false back plate So the nest step is the water test and then it's off to the stand building Link to comment

Squinchy
Haha evilc66 your right that might have been cheeper That would be sweet when i need my MH bulb, they cost around 136+$ for some brand i have never herd of Have been trying to sign up on some sites like marinedepot but cant finish the sign up sins they don't have Iceland listed Link to comment
Squinchy
Did the water test to day Cat was very helpful watching the water level for me From every possible angle Did notice 2 leaks in the false background :/, need to empty the tank and do a small repair there Yep it's almost full And it's finally full Overflow works, just need to make the teeth just a little bit longer to even out the water level a bit But beside all that it works fine Link to comment
