That's good enough to take a pic of a gnat's tonsils. even if it has the ability to focus extremely close does not mean its going to be a true macro shot..if you are focusing SUPER close but the lens is zoomed out to a wide angle then its not giving you much magnification. Focus distance is only half of what it takes for close up macro shots Link to comment
