Is This Clam Bleaching?

Does this clam look like it might be bleaching? I noticed some white around it's excurrent siphon.

Looks ok to me. May benefit from a bit more light as the color looks faded.

But clam does not look stressed.

Looks fine. Maybe it is opening up more than it used to and is making the tissue in the center look more faded? This is common with a lot of clams when they are healthy, if this sounds right to you.

T5 at least for most

Metal halides and hqi's are prefered, but you can get away with several T5's and VHOs.

What about tank size? I'v got a 10gal with a Coralife 96wat 50/50 Quad Tube that combines 10,000°K and True Actinic 03 blue phosphors. And I wanted to ask how often should you replace the bulbs in one of these?

I'm not that great with equipment, how many watts is that? I don't know what the replacement rate on pcs is. On mh's and hqi's they should be replaced every 8 months - year. But some hard core people that have a lot of money do it every 6 months.
