SILVERONE
I set up a 12 gallon Via-Aqua a few month..these tanks come with 2 13 watt pcs....to add new lighting would mean a complete ballast change....though the lighting seems to be pretty good.......I'm thinking there is no way a small clam would survive any thoughts Andy~ Link to comment
Bucket o Chum
Anything is possible you just have to know how. In the 50s-60s the life expectancy of a salt water fish wasn't even a year in some cases now they're living many more years. Link to comment
wombat
The energy derived from photsynthesis for a tridacnid clam is inversely proportional to its size, so you can probably get away with a small (1-2"), low light (squamosa, derasa) clam. When they're small, they derive most of their energy from phytoplankton. I use DTs. Link to comment
