clam growth

was wondering what is a good sign for clam growth? i heard if around the edges there is alot of white that means good clam growth.

i think the white growth is the thing youre looking for, knda like stripes

My baby Tridacna maxima (2 of them) have this light-colored shell at the top too, and the are visibly bigger in two months.

i have about a quarter inch of white shell around the rim of the clam, where it opens up. i assume that is good growth?

I thought it was a colloquialism meaning "one from your home state". Maybe I was wrong.

It's great---and unlike with those pesky kids---the clam heighth chart doesn't deter from the resale value of your home. You can't even notice it except for the wet spot on the rug.
