There is no adjective in existence that will even come close to doing that video justice. I'm in awe.

really? it doesn't even have cool music or flashy video editing. thanks tho! =)

my corals saw the video, flipped me off, and skipped town. expect them at your door.

haha. i'll give them a good home.

hehe. that would be cool. but it is my turn to go up to the bay since you came down last time.

so should i leave the macro algae in or take it out? I just put it in there to demonstrate the wave action...but it makes the pico look more natural.

What a fantastic shot! You're not only an inspired pico designer but a master photographer aswell.

I just love the video footage. I'm not sure that I could live with the bubbles but I bet the livestock is going to LOVE the flow.

Best regards

I'm not as impressed Is I thought I'd be... j/k. :P

Well done, and kudos on your successfull design. As for the macro, leave it untill it begins to die off (which turtlegrass almost always does), then remove it hastefuly, before it can polute the tank.

The pico surges [switchin between low and high "tide"/flow] about 2-3 times per minute.

What positive outcome are you attempting to achieve with the surge device?

Any worries about that mantis makin its way out of the tank? Looks like it could easily get out. Just wondering.

Macro looks great in that tank btw... All your other tanks are so clean why not let this one get a little dirty and more natural?

that is pretty cool tigah...good job. what pump are you using for that? is it a quet one? i know you used those on a few other tanks...how do you like them? have any problems?

thanks for the compliments, folks!

SLO - Yeah, it's the Quiet One 1200. I just use em since I can get them for pretty cheap and one of the few pumps in lower gph range that can be used external. Haven't had any probs w/ them, but they aren't as "quiet" as the name implies.

Nednai - Shooting for more random turbulent flow - in an attempt to have conditions more similar to the ocean than having constant flow output from a powerhead. In theory more beneficial for corals and livestock.
