Noticed you had some pretty big gravel. Are you worried about organic matter getting into it? With sand you can get various sand sifters to keep things tidy and prevent nitrates. How is this working for you?

barmer and mr. T ....there isn't a day that goes by that I think about getting another 10g or bigger and putting in some black sand, rock, letting it cycle and switching everything over....Newb mistake getting crushed coral. Your right about nitrates barmer, they're always a bit elevated.

Maybe try and get some macro algae to help with that.
