wildernesstank Posted April 22, 2008 wow that is a heck of a tank, did you let the monti grow or bought it like that Quote Link to comment
bluesky Posted April 23, 2008 zoanthids on the koralia powerhead!!! Your tank is very nice and very crowded. May be it is time to UPGRADE to a bigger one =) Quote Link to comment
Clayton07 Posted April 28, 2008 the tank is very crowded, but I pretty much leave things to gro as they will. Corals (if they can) will natuarally move to get more light. I do have to trim back things sometimes. I am currently shopping for a new tank to put in its place. Thanks for all the comments! Quote Link to comment
reef bound Posted April 30, 2008 One of my favorite pics ever. I really wasn't thinking about any SPS for my tank, but after seeing this pic, I'll be on the lookout for a piece of that montipora. What kind is it? Simply beautiful!!! Well done. Quote Link to comment
Clayton07 Posted May 1, 2008 Its just your common Montipora Capricornus. It really thrives in this tank. It almost grows too fast. I had a large peice of green Monti that grew really fast too. I have found that with proper water care, suplementation, and flow some sps specied do pretty well under the stock lighting. Quote Link to comment

Aqua newbie Posted May 17, 2008 What kind of anemone? Very Colorful and full of movement. Quote Link to comment
bluesky Posted May 18, 2008 it is a very very nice tank ... did you super glue the zoanthids onto your koralia pump? Quote Link to comment
Clayton07 Posted May 19, 2008 That is a BTA. I have had two in this tank and both of them lost their bubbles. I have upgraded to a 150w MH with a 14k Pheonix bulb in the last few weeks. It still has not got any bubbles. But I have read that the bubbles are not directly releated to light. I change about 4.5 gallons per-week. I use Tropic Marin Pro Reef Salt. Yes, I just glued them on the Koralia. I am just going to let them spread out on it. I just thought they didnt blend in well so I just glued two little grags on there. Quote Link to comment
bluesky Posted May 20, 2008 I think you have to feed them for their bubble to come back ... my friend did that ... not sure if it works for every BTA Quote Link to comment
