he is reef compatible, just not shrimp compatible, if youre biocube is a 29, you will honestly be fine, just watch him around shrimp carefully, but your shrimp should be quick enough to get away into his favorite hiding spot before any damage is done. if you have a skunk cleaner shrimp he will also not do anything, because he would enjoy the cleanings more than just a snack

i have had one before and he never touched my blood shrimp, to say they only eat shrimp is very generalized, if you are speaking from personal experience i can understand, but other than the one i had, i have had plenty come through the store i work at and i put them in tanks with peppermint and skunk cleaner shrimp all the time, no problem. its all about keeping them fed well.

will they eat tridacna clams?
