Red Eyed Barnacle Blenny Macro

This guy is so cool, and he finally made his home in the front of my tank, perfect for macro shots.

He's an ambush predator when he eats, no open water swimming, just sits back (supposed to be in a barnacle) and darts out for a piece of food and back into his spot.

the clearly visible teeth are creeping me out. they're straight though. so you don't have to worry about the expense of braces.

That is an incredible picture!! You need to submit that to a photo contest! BTW he is very cute!! Almost looks like an alien. :)

thanks guys! he ate anything that i dropped into the tank, literally. it was so cool to watch him ambush food as soon as it hit the water. Unfortunately he jumped in the back sump and i couldnt find him until he got stuck in the pump :(
