Fade2White12 Posted December 7, 2007 Thanks! The many colors of coralline growing in my tank makes this picture possible. I also have some yellow as well, but none on ole crabby here. Since this is a contest about clean up crews, I thought it should be of the type we all have in our tanks - not something rare and obscure. It's more fun and challenging making common things look beautiful. Anyone can make something beautiful look beautiful. Quote Link to comment
Fade2White12 Posted December 10, 2007 Buy the hermits and shells like that? Nope. I found that cat's eye on a beach in Florida years ago. I simply have many competing colors of coralline in my tank - maroon, purple, light and dark green, pink, and yellow. Quote Link to comment
c est ma Posted December 22, 2007 Wow!! (Can I vote for about 3 shots in this contest?! How do you choose between equally stunning pics?) I LOVE this shot, esp. the enlargement. Such superb focus and depth and color saturation and... Wow!! Cool, cool shot. And the beautiful pastels on the shell really add so much in contrast to the vivid colors of the crab.. And the focus on the eye is so perfect... Quote Link to comment
Fade2White12 Posted December 24, 2007 Thanks Diane I think this photo will be somewhat under appreciated because of the subject matter, but it's definitely one of my favorites! As long as somebody likes it Quote Link to comment
