Lebowski_
This tank is going to have an atoll style aquascape, which will allow some space for LPS and softies, while still having a ton space around the bottom for mushrooms and zoas. Lebowski_
Lots of changes.I originally bought this tank to be me 2nd tank, to go along with my 15g anemone cube. Almost immediately, though, it felt like I was splitting my time, energy, money and interest between the two. It didn’t take long to realize I don’t really want 2 tanks right now. So I ended up moving the Prime 16, the anemones, and the livestock all to the 25 lagoon.Aquascape changed to better house the anemones - I now have one island with coral, and one dedicated to the anemones (who love to move!). My 15g cube has been handed over to my wife who is a plant guru, for her first attempt at a planted shrimp/guppy tank. Still needs more plants and some driftwood but the pic below shows she’s off to a great start! a couple gifs:https://i.imgur.com/19CQxDT.gifv https://i.imgur.com/kb6ap16.gifv Sunset Wife’s planted cube day 1 8 Quote Link to comment
Lebowski_
So I couldn't stand the flow issues I was having an finally decided to rip apart one of the islands. The larger Bubble Tip made a huge leap over to the other island, so the whole 2 segragated islands idea will no longer work. Will get a pic once the tank wakes up, but I really love how the BTA looked last night under the sunset lighting - beautiful pink/purple tips and orange/yellow zoo algae in the tentacles. For some reason, my sticks and my LPS are thriving, Zoas are multiplying, but for some reason mushrooms just aren't happy. I am thinking too high of PAR, which is hard to regulate. It's a challenge with only 13" top to sand to carve out different PAR areas. I am thinking I will switch this to a heavier LPS/SPS tank over the next 6 months. 1 Quote Link to comment

I am struggling to find long tentacled versions anywhere for sale in Canada., and yours are the best I’ve seen! 🍻 Quote Link to comment

Love it, though. Probably the most interesting thing in the tank. This is Red People Eater. It's not my flashiest Zoa, but it's always been my favourite. Such a unique colour and pattern, and the green mouths really pop. Utter Chaos here, always a crowd pleaser: Then probably my favourite LPS, Acan echinata...growing quickly and always hungry. I do feeding 2-3 times a week. 2 Quote Link to comment

Lebowski_
I got mine from Cultured By Science - they are out of Guelph. Few dudes starting a little aquaculture gig so I liked supporting them. Julian at Junction Coral might still have some too! Did I see soemwhere that you are setting up a larger tank? Quote Link to comment
