NRJOHNSON2121
Had a successful 60 gallon reef for 2 years, recently had to move and get rid of my tank. All I have is a 14"L-13"D-12"H nano tank. I belive the water volume is around 7 gallons. I have a small yellow clown goby in it now. My daughter is dying to have a clown again. I know the challenges of a nano tank and fluctuations. Part of the move means I will be home more and able to do weekly maintenance easily. Would one clown be unhappy in a tank like this? I know Percula stay smaller, would one perc thrive in that environment assuming water quality stays good or am I dreaming? There are corals mainly soft, and I would be willing to add a nem in a few months if all goes well 1 Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
I’ve got a pair of clowns in an Innovative Marine 10 gallon. They’re super happy, and rarely leave their anemone. I think you’d probably be fine, as long as you keep up on your tank maintenance. 1 Quote Link to comment
Superdave
7 gallons is a bit on the small side for a percula but others have done it. Quote Link to comment
