InAtTheDeepEnd
Had some issues with the dissolved oxygen being too low but an additional powerhead created more flow than the juvenile platies and tiny bumblebee gobies could cope with. However an old style wooden air stone seems to have rectified the problem 🙂 3 Quote Link to comment
InAtTheDeepEnd
Yes, it's turbid constantly; a combination of the wood, VERY heavy feeding and deliberately not syphoning so the numerous nerite veligers have plenty of food.... But parameters are spot on and fish and plants seem very happy, although I randomly lost a single bunch of vallisneria and I'm not sure why, as the others are doing fine, although it was situated directly under my mangrove baskets which may have been the problem (or at least a contributing factor) as they are growing so vigorously suddenly that the vallis didn't get a look in. 2 Quote Link to comment
