Would I be correct to assume it’s a type of Sinularia , finger leather?

It’s hard to tell from your picture…  Does it have a white base? If so, I think it’s a young blushing finger leather.

Can I mix thins together with other leathers or should it be isolated?

I had one for a while. I got it with a tank buyout. I’m not huge on leathers, but it took pretty high flow, and moderate lighting well.

I believe the general rule on leathers are they need space from each other, to prevent coral warfare.

They grow big. They also have potent chemical warfare so space is needed. The chemicals they release can stunt or kill stony corals so run plenty of carbon.

I made a separate rock structure for this coral. Can I grow it on the upper pedestal and perhaps acans or Zia’s on the other shelves
