So pulled it urgently to check each polyp... Thank god there is no damage, but to be sure.... 30minute dip in 50/50 household bleach and tap water.. She's decided to start removing the fake plants and toys and adding coral. ... So my coral bill has gone from expensive.... To ridiculous.... Bad news however the female misbar found a way out of the tank the day before the transfer.. found her on the carpet when I moved the old cabinet... Daughter was very upset indeed. A lot larger fish but the male took to her right away and they are now swimming together well. Also picked up a cleaner Shrimp as well as some coral. The Evo stock light is difficult to capture images on (very different to the reefspace tank with primes over it), my first attempt below. Both with the stock pump and the Sicce 1.0. both pumps are dead quiet when I put them in my 90g display on full tilt. Turn them upside down, put them on their side, the right way up.. all quiet as anything.. put it back in the Evo... HUMMMM RATTLE VIBRATE.. Tried putting filter wool under and around it, silicon sheets encasing the pump.. all result in the same noise.. I've held the cable away from the sides removed the lid incase it's vibrating against that.. added silicon washers to the nozzle screw on both sides.. I know this, the pumps are good.. they are quiet. When in the Evo they are not.. I'm beginning to think that most peoples idea of quiet... Really isn't great! My 90g with a 4000 litre TMC reef pump, a Jecod sow 8, Nero 3, bubble Magus c3.5 and 3 prime HDs on full tilt is a MUCH quieter tank that this crappy little Evo!! It's now been retired from my daughter's bedroom to the utility room where the washer and dryer are.. (thank god it's light enough to move easily) 1 Quote Link to comment

I have even checked all the seals between the glass and plastic baffles but it's all good.. I'm missing something and have no idea what it is.. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
