Clown79
My xenia was in pretty high flow, leathers are good with more flow, gsp handles a good amount of flow. Most Sps Quote Link to comment

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but what pump(s) are you using? I can't think of anything that doesn't like pretty high flow (as in GPH). In the wild it's been estimated that reefs might see something like 30,000 GPH. (See Borneman's "Corals..." book.) Most pumps these days seem to be all about the GPH and only the GPH....and have flow so soft (low velocity) that it can't even lift detritus. Corals have nothing to worry about from these pumps. 😉 So, my final answer depends on your answer. 👍 Quote Link to comment
Jungle_vip
Guess it depends on what your high flow area is? As @mcarrol asked what pumps do you have and what size tank? my 10 gallon turns over 46.5 times an hour. One source from my filter that’s a direct jet at 225 gph and a Koralia nano at 240 gph. Both move water differently. Quote Link to comment
