Clownfish Beyond Pairing Period?

Hi All,

 

I originally purchased two ocellaris clownfish a year and 2 months ago hoping to create a mated pair. When I bought them they were supposedly juveniles according the shopkeeper, and I bought one slightly larger than the other. The fish fought a lot at the beginning, then it slightly subsided, and now it is just constant fighting. From what I read most clowns pair pretty much immediately or within 2ish months. Is this window for pairing over? Do I need to get rid of one of these clownfish at this point?
