Abzdot
Hi, DIAGNOSED: Power supply issue. Can’t reach over 15w of power use. My Ai hydra 26 hd doesn't want to turn on. When I enable the schedule mode on my phone the light turns on for a split second then goes offline for around a minute then is able to connect but has the same result as before. I have contacted AI and they told me to reboot it which I did and still having no success. Please help. Quote Link to comment

NoOneLikesADryTang
Flashing blue means it's set up as a child light. Do you have another light as the parent? Did you buy it used? If so, it sounds like you'll need to do a hard reset on it to wipe its settings and can set up your own. Quote Link to comment

No it’s a parent, I bought it used but it’s previous owner was removed and I had it working completely fine for 2 weeks. Sorry I didn’t mean blue I meant teal. Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
Did you try a factory reset (this will mean you'll need to reprogram it)? Quote Link to comment

No but I believe there is a problem with the power supply, I have noticed that when I turn the light on, the power supply’s light flickers on and off Quote Link to comment

Well I have contacted AI about it as I’m not interested in paying £50 for a power supply Quote Link to comment
Abzdot
I have diagnosed it for certain, the power supply is at fault, the light works at <15watts but anything over that stops the light and causes a reboot 1 Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
Sorry to hear that you've got a bad power supply. At least now you know. Quote Link to comment

Yea, am very thankful that it’s not the actual light, I bought it second hand but if anyone has this don’t push the light too hard if you want to get the life out of it Quote Link to comment
Abzdot
Hi all, I ordered a new power supply and have noticed that the one I got was a third party one. The new power supply has really helped though! 1 Quote Link to comment
