meanduck124
My cynarina just arrived yesterday, it was during night time so I don't see its color very well. Today, when I'm about to leave for work, I noticed the coral is transparent, I can see it right to its skeleton. So I was wondering if it is bleaching? And if it is, is there any ways I can recover it original color? Sorry for no pics, I will shoot one when I get home. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Thats not its natural colours. I would definitely contact the company you ordered it from. These corals do best in moderate light, lower flow, and feeding it can help. Quote Link to comment
meanduck124
I bought it from a retailer online, it was a good deal on cynarina. Didn't expect a indo ruby or some fancy one, but not this one either. Maybe i will move it to a quarantine tank to see if it helps. Do I need any special treatments to recover it natural color? The condition it is in isn't normal. It should have colour. Loss of colour can be from too much light, lack of nutrients. Ither than providing it with the conditions it needs, there isn't much else you can do Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
I wouldn't move it....just more stress. I concur...make sure there are dissolved nutrients available (no3 and po4) and a light feeding up to a few times a day might help. 1 Quote Link to comment
