jvanpelt89
Recently I bought a candy cane with 3 heads, 2 were very large and one was about the size of a nail head. The small head detached yesterday and I caught it, fully inflated, floating around my tank. I grabbed it and just glued the tiny bit of skeleton that was left to an empty shell that my RBTA came from the LFS attached to. He deflated after gluing him but this morning he is back fully inflated. I’m hoping this is going to be similar to fragging and I get a new colony out of this. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
As long as there was skeleton left, it should start growing again - it'll probably take some time though, growing from one small head. Quote Link to comment
Wc_aquariums
I bought 4 candy cane corals about a year ago and found that this can actually happen because of to much or to little lighting maybe try to move it around if this continues. If he’s happy then leave him and try to feed once every 3 days and see if he can recover from there. Quote Link to comment
