Hannahhhh
Hi, my name is Hannah and I am relatively new to the hobby, and I live outside of Boston. A bit about me- I graduated college 2018 with a biology major, and I applied to vet school this year. I’m really passionate about aquatic animal medicine, but I still have lots to learn about fish! I was wondering if I could get a little group going of locals who might be interested in trading frags etc. Yesterday I threw out a bunch of frags from stuff overtaking my tank, but I would have preferred to give them to someone else for free. Most importantly, I’m hoping to find some people who might want to place online orders at the same time and split the shipping cost. Since we don’t already know each other, I was thinking the order could get delivered to a LFS or somewhere public, where we could meet and drive our livestock home. If this is something you would be interested in, let me know and I can work out the logistics. I’m currently desperate to place an order with vivid aquariums but I don’t want to pay the full shipping cost. I’m also interested in placing orders through live aquaria and aqua SD. If you're from the area, or you know anyone from nearby, please reach out! 1 Quote Link to comment
sadie
Some LFS will trade with you, or buy them from you. I got $20 for a green toadstool (I had 2). Welcome to the hobby! Quote Link to comment

I normally wouldn’t throw them out, I just had surgery though and wasn’t allowed to drive for a bit. Love the reef is my go to store, I absolutely love them. I’m looking to place an order from vivid aquariums sometime soon, would you have any interest in ordering something too and splitting shipping? If they’re ok with it we could meet at love the reef to grab or individual stuff Quote Link to comment
Hannahhhh
@GraniteReefer I still haven’t really figured out how to navigate this site, do you have a tank journal that you could post the link to? I’d like to follow it. Quote Link to comment
