No doubt about it. Especially with the outdated 1 inch of fish per gallon rule in use (which is mainly a freshwater rule for community tanks consisting of small freshwater fish). Because, you know, fish don't ever grow or anything...they stay the exact same size forever. 😵 Quote Link to comment

Oops...I misread that. 1 inch per 5 gallons is the outdated rule coming from the books dated back in the 70's. Still if that were the case, then the OP should only have 1 fish in there according to the shop's advice. Not two. 🙂 Quote Link to comment
